Morning lectures will take place at LILEC – Department of Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures, University of Bologna.
You will engage with theories and practices of storytelling approached from a variety of areas of studies and professions.
Afternoon activities (seminars, workshops, field work and hackathons) will take place in a variety of city institutions, in collaboration with the City of Bologna and its famous and varied cultural network.
The month of June is a special month in Bologna: the city blooms with an incredible number of events and festivals, forming a perfect setting completing the School program. We list here only two, among the most renowned festivals: Biografilm Festival: International Celebrations of Lives; IT.A.CA’: Migrants and Travelers. Festival of Responsible Tourism.
Similarly, Bologna houses about twenty different Museums, covering a wide range of permanent and temporary exhibitions in different areas of interest (history; music; from ancient to contemporary art; memory; archeology; industrial heritage and many more).
In the summer, each evening the many squares of Bologna become open-air stages for performances, screening, concerts and cultural events, bringing people together to share, participate and engage.
